Adamy + Company, P.C. was founded by Eric A. Adamy in 1979 after his eight years’ experience with a national accounting firm. Lori J. Baker joined the firm in 1983 as a staff accountant and became a partner in 1992. Paul J. Spindler joined Adamy + Company, P.C. in 1989 and became a partner in 2000. Total staff now numbers 15 people.

Although technology has dramatically altered the accounting profession, our fundamental principles have remained the same:

For the last 25+ years our firm has been focusing on the needs of closely-held businesses, their owners and others seeking trusted advisors in financial and tax matters. Our success is built on our commitment to understand our client’s business and to help them meet their goals.

Our staff of professionals possess areas of expertise which include business consultation, accounting, tax planning and preparation, estate planning, business valuation, litigation support and fraud prevention and detection services. Firm members belong to such diverse organizations as the Institute of Management Accountants, American Society of Appraisers, Institute of Business Appraisers,  American Society of Women Accountants and the Western Michigan Estate Planning Council.

As a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, our firm is required to undergo a Peer Review of our accounting practice every three years. We are proud to have had our reports accepted by the AICPA Peer Review Committee in all the years we have been reviewed.
